Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

General Contractor based in San Diego County is seeking a Full Time, Yard Supervisor to assist in maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment within our shop and local yards, also to assist with various errands and assigned tasks

Job Duties:

The duties for this position will include and not limited to the following.

• Assist with administrative duties for the yard
• Ensures yard is compliant and organized
• Ensure compliance of policies and programs
• Confers with department heads to ensure their needs are met
• Arranges for purchase of supplies and tools
• Must be able to perform the related tasks in a safe manner.
• Manage and organize orders in a computer based system
• Manage material orders and inventory
• Assist with forecasting field material needs
• Run errands or pick up parts for the shop ( driving company vehicle)
• Other duties as assigned

SPECIAL SKILLS OR REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified candidates must possess the following special skills and or requirements to be considered for this position.

• Must have valid Driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must have great computer skills.
• Must have administrative experience.
• Basic mechanical understanding and aptitude.
• Prior experience required.
• The employee must frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Bilingual, a plus.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 3 (three) years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Class "C" Driver’s License.
• DOT Compliance knowledge.
